Laboratory Measurement and Testing Technology<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2 id=\"skills-required-by-medical-lab-technicianstechnologists\">Skills required by Medical Lab Technicians\/Technologists<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Communication<\/li>\n<li>Reasoning and Problem<\/li>\n<li>Sound abilities in Mathematics and Science<\/li>\n<li>Time Management<\/li>\n<li>Working with People<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In India,&nbsp;<strong>Medical Laboratory Technology<\/strong>&nbsp;(MLT) programmes are available as B.Sc., M.Sc., DMLT, and CMLT. B.Sc.<br \/><strong>Medical Laboratory Technology<\/strong>&nbsp;(MLT) takes three years with six semesters to complete, M.Sc. MLT takes two years with four semesters to complete, and CMLT and DMLT programmes take one year to complete. <\/p>\n<p>Students in the&nbsp;<strong>Medical Lab Technology<\/strong>&nbsp;(MLT) program at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.itm.ac.in\/\">ITM Vocational University,<\/a>&nbsp;Vadodara, are taught various disease diagnosis and treatment techniques. In&nbsp;<strong>Medical Laboratory Technology<\/strong>&nbsp;(MLT) at ITM Vocational University, Vadodara, students are trained to collect and store samples as well as perform tests to diagnose disease. They are also trained in the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.itm.ac.in\/bsc-medical-lab-technology\/\" rel=\"noreferrer\"><strong>Medical Lab Technology<\/strong>&nbsp;(MLT) program<\/a> at&nbsp;<strong>ITM Vocational University<\/strong>, Vadodara, to prepare patient reports using software and provide them to specialists so that doctors can decide which type of treatment is best for the patients. <\/p>\n<h2 id=\"medical-lab-technology-mlt-eligibility-criteria\"><strong>Medical Lab Technology<\/strong>&nbsp;(MLT) Eligibility Criteria<\/h2>\n<p>Students who have completed their 12th with a science grade point average of at least 50% are eligible for the B.Sc. MLT and those who have completed their graduation with Biology, Microbiology,&nbsp;<strong>Medical Lab Technology<\/strong>&nbsp;(MLT), Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or other allied subjects are eligible for the M.Sc. Sample collection,<\/li>\n<li>2. Sample labelling,<\/li>\n<li>3. Sample storage,<\/li>\n<li>4. Sample examination using defined protocols and kits,<\/li>\n<li>5. Report preparation,<\/li>\n<li>6.
