General
Guidelines
Eligibility for admission:
For any Masters level program:
Graduates in any discipline with 50% minimum
marks from any university recognized by
the Association of Indian Universities
are eligible. Candidates in their final
year of graduation may also apply.
Having Work Experience is not a requirement
for admission to the program, however
candidates with work experience are welcome.
Entrance Test Score Submission for
Masters Programs such as PGDBM, Masters
in-FM etc. ITM uses standardized
management entrance test scores as a part
of its overall selection process. Candidates
are not selected/disqualified on the basis
of their test scores only.
The test score is just one part of an
overall candiate profile.
The following test scores are generally
accepted:
• CAT (Common Application
Form)
• XAT (Xavier's Management
Test)
• GMAT (Graduate Management
Aptitude Test)
In addition, other Nationally Competitive
Exam scores are accepted on a selective
basis, depending on the program applied
for, such as the ATMA, MAT, CET, JMET
and others. For some programs
, ITM conducts its own entrance test.
Students must submit an attested copy
of Test Score Card along with the application
form. If test score card is not yet available,
they give details of Test Registration
Number, Test Centre Code, etc.
Note: ITM uses the
CAT score for short-listing candidates
called for Group Discussions/Personal
Interview. IIM's have no role in selection
or in conducting the program.
For Bachelors level programs such
as Hotel Management, BBA etc.:
Students having completed their 10+2
from a Board recognized College are eligible
to apply. All streams (Science, Commerce,
Arts) are generally accepted, except in
the case of specific programs. In addition,
an competitive entrance test score or
an ITM entrance test may be applicable.
